We are looking for an experienced backend developer who will be part of a team of developers responsible for building and maintaining the solution for a major customer in the financial sector.
About the client:

This solution is built with several in house products third party products and Open Source tools and technology. The main goal is to manage document flows from their composition, their storage and their output through various channels such as Web presentment to enable customer self-service.

Beside this role, you will occasionally provide support to the presales consultant or support engineer. You will help them respectively with designing a solution for the customer based on the Columbus suite and analyzing, solving incidents & problems which might occur at the customer site. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly extend your knowledge across the many exciting enterprise IT environments and architectures in which our products operate. You will be a member of a well-established technical team that was built on both success and team spirit.

Description :
  • As a project team member you will analyze, provide estimates, and configure the solution.
  • As a project team member you will develop and build applications to answer to new business requests from our clients.
  • As a project team member you will occasionally act as Service Delivery Coordinator and Project Manager.
  • Your work will involve the configuration and maintenance of in house software and all associated software involved in the solution.
  • You will have to make yourself familiar with new releases and functionalities of products and 3rd party products used to implement the solution.
  • You will be asked to deliver the required support and input related to incident and problem management of the delivered applications. (ITIL based)
Profile:
  • Experienced in at least one scripting language (PERL, PHP, Python would be “nice to have”)
  • Professional Bachelor or Master in IT with at least 5 years’ experience working in IT environment
  • Minimum 2 years of working in Agile/Scrum methodology
  • IT literate in at least one platform e.g. Windows, Linux
  • Understanding of IT & server/client architectures and web services.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Native Dutch OR French speaker, with excellent knowledge of English (written and oral)
  • Willing to travel to other offices such as UK and France and to customers (depends of candidates)
